Dog Licence
​Did you know that every dog owner in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is required to purchase a dog licence tag for their dog(s) each year? A dog licence tag is required for dogs over the age of four (4) months. Residents may not have more than three (3) dogs per premises.
To avoid a late penalty, please note tags are to be purchased by March 31st of each year.

What are the fees for a dog tag?
Puppy (four months to one year) - $28.00
Dog is neutered/spayed (altered) - $28.00
Dog is not neutered/spayed (non-altered) - $38.00
Replacement Tag - $5.00
Guide Dogs and Service Dogs - (first application – proof of guide dog/service dog is required)
Late fee (after March 31st) - $10.00
Kennel Licence
Residents within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent who wish to have a kennel licence must follow the requirements that have been established for our municipality.
